Well, thanks to Scott, my blog is now back up and running. Apparently, that template was a bit off, or something like that. I dunno for sure. But wow, technology sure can be odd sometimes. Oh well.

Unexpectations

Hey, Hallelujah! And if that wasn't heartfelt... I dunno what else, but it was. Because, after all, it feels good to have a driver's license! In fact, it feels downright grand.
I think I'm going to go see if I can find someone to listen while I ramble now.

Argh

You know, appropriately enough, I somehow failed to notice that my most recent posting had managed to be published 3 times. Luckily, i noticed before (hopefully) anyone noticed, and deleted the spares, but I suppose that it just goes to show that I should (a) think more closely about what I am doing, and (b) reread that posting and perhaps take it to heart this time. Oh well, I suppose a mistake has to be made in a post about mistakes...

A thought on the nature of mistakes

As I sat reading Scott's wonderful blog, it made me begin to think about how sadly simple it is, despite all efforts to the contrary, to make a mistake (i.e. creating an incorrect hyperlink). It makes one (or at least, this one) wonder why in the world it is that we, despite being able to remember seemingly insignificant facts, trivia and mundane bits of knowledge, still fail to apply our brain power to prevent these mistakes. Meh, it makes one wonder...
