Court
SUU's Criminal Justice Department hosted a circuit court today in the "courtroom" on campus. It was pretty cool, especially since it was an actual case that they reviewed right there. It was an interesting debate about a family selling a piece of property to a school district, which then leased the property. The problem was that the realtor wanted a second commission for the lease as well as the original sale. It was a good substitute for a regular Poli Sci class. My professor gave us the choice between the court and Utah Representative Jim Matheson, who was on campus answering questions. I had a good time.
